HerCampus.com is the first and largest of Her Campus Media’s brands– a website and one-stop shop for college women looking to flourish on campus. I spent over six years at Her Campus starting as a part-time college editor and working my way up to become the site’s full-time senior associate editor at its headquarters in Boston. My full-time work encompassed everything from content strategy to website analytics. As a senior editor, I managed and mentored over 50 college women writers and editors, while conceptualizing, assigning, and editing content across nine verticals (everything from viral listicles to comprehensive guides on finally, dear god, breaking up with your college boyfriend.) During my time at HC, the Her Campus media network was averaging about 13.8 million monthly unique visitors and 70 million monthly content views.
